Seems progress on securing another court date is, like the entire adoption process, moves at a snail's pace, it looks like we won't be leaving before Thanksgiving.
Word from our friend in Russia today is that the local court has completed it's report for the Judge overseeing our case, and it will be sent to her within a few days. I don't know if all the families are accounted for, but at least there is SOME movement here. Our Russian Attorney is going to contact the court as well, to see what to expect next.
So in the meantime, we continue to wait - and, I suppose plan a Thanksgiving dinner....

Snail's pace is better than nothing but how frustrating! Hopefully the Attorney can find out more definitive answers for you...
ReplyDeleteIt is what it is........like Debbie says a snail's pace is better than nothing. Keep the faith and family close to your heart. As far as turkey goes, enjoy and when you get to the wishbone....??????
ReplyDeleteAs long as you're advancing the ball...it's OK! I still think we'll all be there together at the end of December (yay!)
ReplyDeleteI guess the silver lining is that they are moving...but not quickly enough. Maybe it will be good to be home and rest for awhile...before you go back and have to deal with the judge again. Keep writing.
ReplyDeleteTry to enjoy your turkey. :-)
