Irina has been unable to find anything out about the court case for the families. Her contact at the Guardianship Department says they don't know if the rmaining family showed up or not, and if not, what will happen next. She is hoping to get an answer by the beginning of the week...

As for our visas, we hoped to extend our adoption visa letter dates since it is dated 30 days from the ORIGINAL hearing date. Apparently it can't be extended, so we have to reapply - which will take another month.

So that means if we get a new court date for early Dec., we'd likely need to do that "Mike flies to another country bit, to get the correct visa, and returns to get us" bit.

It just never goes smoothly!
