The moments that make it all worthwhile...

Today in homeschool we started a new lesson regarding "the silent e" at the end of words. Just a quick intro to the concept since it's Friday, but we started it anyway. At the end of our classes I asked Skip to help me clean up because since We're working on Christmas crafts this week so we tend to make a bigger mess than usual. I went to move the portable blackboard/whiteboard where I had written out some words with silent e, and when I did, I found Skip had written a sentence while I wasn't paying attention:
