8 days, YIPPEE! OH NO!

April 2008 - Harry in what I call his 1950's football pose.

Wow, exactly 8 days and we leave home on our journey to Russia! I'm SO excited! I am SO nervous I'm SO not ready! I am SO ready! I AM SO CONFLICTED! So much to do yet, in so little time - thrilled about returning to Angarsk, yet scared to death that the judge will find a reason not to approve the adoption....Yes, I have faith in God, but like everyone else, I am human. Last night Mike & I sat down and made a list of everything yet to be done before we go, then categorized them by priority - I, II, III. The first being mandatory, then important, then "would really be nice to do this before we leave". 30 something things in all, except, only two fall under the category of "would really be nice - unload the boat completely & finish refinishing (that sounded so funny) Skip's desk for when we get back. Otherwise, the rest are pretty much mandatory, with a few importants...

I suppose they'll get done! We also divided them into Yours, Mine, Ours....A pretty even split I'd say. Still, it leaves little time for anything else. Not complaining mind you - I have waited four years for this - I just hope this is it and we can finally be a family!

Now that I've vented, I guess I should return to the list - or maybe I'll have a cup of coffee first and then tackle it! Yeah, that sounds better!
