Today, while in Irkutsk finishing up our medicals we were able to meet Kirsten & Vince Groff at the Internet Cafe "Fiesta" for a quick lunch. We met the Groffs through Skip adoption, as they were also adopting a little girl, Annicka from the same Baby Home (#2) They went on to pursue the adoption of Tanya, a little girl who actually was in Skip's group in Baby Home #1, so we have been "friends" since 2004, yet never met. Today we finally did! It was great to finally get together! They are here visiting Tanya, and like are us, have waiting more than 3 years. I just pray that all our kids will be home soon, and all the U.S. families can have one big party to celebrate these beautiful kids!
Oh how neat! Sunday I met in person with Kathy F -- what a weekend all over the world!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE Fiesta! My fav place - Marty and I ate there a TON...since I am a picky eater, they had a lot there I liked.
