"I said to throw it, not hold happy hour!"

Harry wanted to feed the birds outside the kitchen window today and since I had some stale slices, I figured, why not. I showed him how to break it up and throw it through the grated window and watched as he did the first few pieces. Then the phone rang...I was only gone 10 seconds...but when I came back, he had his own fly-up window goin'. Mind you there is NOTHING between him and his "customers"!

"Look Mommy, isn't this better than making them eat off the ground?"

"Excuse me. I ordered the wheat, lightly toasted!"

"Can I take this to go? I'm meeting someone across town in 2 minutes."

"I'd better go with the low-cal today, gettin' kinda tough to squeeze through these grates!"

"Okay, what can I getcha?"
"Phew! I thought I was gonna be late! Traffic was crazy over Irkutsk and I was in a holding pattern for like 20 minutes!"

"Sorry guys, mommy said I HAVE to close shop! I don't like it any more than you do!"

"C'mon man. I haven't eaten since breakfast yesterday. Please?"
"What a rip-off. the kid said he'd be open ALL day!"

I'm lucky he didn't decide to invite them in to see the place! With Harry, ANYTHING is possible!

  3. Yeah I heard! We're hoping traffic isn't a problem tomorrow since we're going to Baikal so Harry can see it! Gee, it'll be Skip's third time!

  4. Fly up service! Watch out fast food corps, Harry is on his way to the United States! I love this post. I would be curious to know what a post of the birds in the apartment would have looked like. Have an awesome day Holmes family. The kids say Hi to Skip and Harry. They are so looking forward to your return. As are many others. We continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Danielle

  5. Hilarious! I'm so glad they stayed outside. I guess H must've had a shirt & shoes required for entrance sign.

    Have a great trip tomorrow.
