It's official!...

This morning the judge signed the court decree and it's on it's way to the local Registry. We're officially and irrevocably the parents of Harry Oscar Holmes, III or, as he says,

"Ha-reee Ocar Gomes, Ca-turd"
One more hurdle we've cleared!
By Wednesday we should be able to get his birth & adoption certificates, then apply for his passport!
YIPPEE!!

  3. To make you laugh: 9:44 AM and all is not well for some of God's creatures. I was in my room this morning making my bed and tidying up a bit. I think to myself that Lily is fine, she is playing with the dog in Isaac's room. I can hear her giggling and saying "hey, you' and "come here, you" repeatedly. She is having fun playing with the dog. Well, I was wrong. I step out of my room into the hallway only to see Lily with her hands in Isaac's fish bowl trying to catch his fighting fish. Let's hope the poor little defenseless fish suffered no major injuries. I'll be happy if he does not go belly up by the end of the day... The dog was asleep in his crate the whole time. Lucky dog!

  8. it's official, their bedroom is cleaned and washed new sheets on the bed.... i lifted the mattresses up and vac'd underneath too, b/c i saw some toys, and bird's nest debris between the gaps.... in any event, the room is nice and clean so when they come home they can make a mess of it again! Wasn't sure wheather or not to take the Geo Track set apart or not so I left it for now.... not sure if Harry will go Godzilla on the town but I can take down if ya want
