When English & Russian get tangled.

Harry is repeating SO much and I find him saying - and understanding - more every day. Today we were in the grocery store and the boys went the wrong way. I called to them saying "Boy, come this way please." I figured Skip would get the message and drag Harry with him. Instead, Harry stopped and came back. Skip was daydreaming, staring at, of all things, a huge Vodka display. Harry noticed Skip wasn't coming, and piped in " SKIP! Boys come this way please!" A mouthful for sure, plus, he clearly knew what I wanted!

Then there are times he speaks in both Russian and English. Like whe he says
"Mommy, Eshore (more) cookies please", or when he was putting on his gloves and feeling each one to be sure he had a finger in each, and said "Adeem (one), Dva (two), three, four, five!" And today he was telling Skip he was trying to convince Skip to give him the FP DVD player and said "Skip, Harry loobloo malenki DVD, okay?" meaning Harry loves the little DVD player, ok?"

And my favorite of late was when he got mad at Skip and said "Blo-ka". Skip big Blo-ka" meaning Skip was really bad (because he wouldn't share!)
