I just finished reading your posts. I am impressed how you can take a bitter situation and turn it into a memorable family vacation. I hope to some day be able to bring Ana back to Angarsk. I always envisioned that trip to be in the summer but you make winter seem just as fun. I seriously can't believe that judge. Just when I think that she is running out of hoops, she comes up with a new one. UGH.
ReplyDeleteYesterday we went to the New Year's celebration by the Russian group of CHSFS. It has gotten so big that it has moved to the Best Buy headquarters. There were Russsian dancers, music..sadly no Russian food. We connected with Erin and Bella's families. The others couldn't make it this year. They mark a table for each region and we were such a small group that another group took over our table assuming we weren't there. From what I can tell, Russian adoption is not anything like Irkutsk. I wish that judge would talk to the other judges. Anyway, everyone is praying for you and thinking of you. I keep them abreast on the major twists and turns. Sylvia from CHSFS sends you her best wishes too. Hang in there.
We at the church are continuing to pray for you as you go through this frustrating time. Everyone sends their greetings and love. We miss you!!
ReplyDeleteHey guys. We are here and checking in on you often.
ReplyDeleteReally, Kai asks everyday the status of Harry.
Hang tight.

I'm SO sorry to hear you have to endure the whole medical thing AGAIN!!! We will pray hard that you and the N's can find 8 clinics and a head doctor with an Eagle seal efficiently and without hassles. What a blessing it is to have Irina and Vova on your side. I'm glad you guys had fun over the weekend. Sounds like a place we'll have to check out!
ReplyDeleteOur paperwork is coming together slowly but surely. We're still trying to figure out how to get a local judge to sign our letter without having to pay a lawyer $500 to put it on his desk. We'd appreciate your prayers for that one...
You would have laughed at all the panic here in Atlanta last week as a "bitter cold Artic front" moved through. Yes, the temperature plummeted to a bone-chilling 17 degrees... ABOVE zero! :-)
Sending you love, prayers, and warm thoughts,
Kirsten
Hey Guys,
ReplyDeleteSorry for our lack of posting. I had some outpatient surgery so I've been able to make it up the stairs. Clay's been checking and keeping me updated but in taking care of me, 2 babies, Evan and the house, he hasn't had time to post. I'm back!
Oh sorry to hear you had to have surgery. I do hope you are feeling alot better and that Clay isn't totally stressed from all his added responsibilities!
