Things you see along the way...

On our journey through now familiar cities of Angarsk & Irkutsk, we pass some interesting landmarks, buildings, and scenery. I especially love the old wooden buildings with the ornate shutters. They are SO close to the roads and SO close together. Here are a few I took today that I like alot. It snowed lightly most of the day, so the lighthing wasn't great, but... You probably have to click on them to enlarge them in order to appreciate them!
Row of tiny, adorable homes on a hilly side road.

One of the many clinics we visited.
Childrens Clinic in Irkutsk.

I love this building!

This building was across from one of the clinics. I think the trees add to its charm.

Another shot of the same building.

All the while, with little else to do, Skip passes the hours in the car, playing his V-Smile Learning Center.

  2. Wow very nice pics, let me tell you, it's been snowing a lot here the last few days and it does not add to the "charm" of anything here, it's just a mess, there in Angarsk/Irkutsk it makes for really nice looking pictures. It really does make me miss being there and the way it looks with snow all over the ground and trees etc. Here in MA, the snow is just a pain, there it's really nice. That children's clinic in Irkutsk looks amazing, is that a new building?

  4. Levi,
The building isn't so new - but certainly newer than most. And Skip sure wishes you were here!
