...as in temperatures... Yep, another sub Zero morning, with the usual inch or two of fresh snow. It's really cool how you get a fresh coat of snow almost every morning! It's like fresh snow - fresh start to the day. For me who LOVES snow - it's awesome. The temperatures, however, are another thing. Yesterday was bitter. Today, thankfully is tolerable. bout -20F overnite, and right now it's about 14F. Plus, no wind today - which makes ALL the difference in the world! Skip of course doesn't care how cold it is - he just loves the snow and the outdoors. I snapped these pictures as we were waiting for Vova to pick us up after our visit. He especially being the first to slide down this little slide - and getting covered in snow in the process...
Isn't it odd how when you take a deep breath the inside of your nose freezes?
ReplyDeleteI think it feels colder here - currently, it's about 15F - and if feels SO MUCH colder. You know what they say, ya gotta be careful of that dry cold :)
Kathy, I'm not sure why it feels colder back home than when we're here - I think it has alot to do with the fact that here you know you're gonna freeze your behind off so you dress for it without fail...
