We're in Recess...

I arrived in court at 9:55 with cold feet. Not because I had changed my mind, but because I had been in the car since 7:00 and my feet were cold! The judge began by saying we would need to start all over with our testimony, ugh, and so we did. She wasn't 100% thrilled with the TB doctor since it was the only one for which we did not have an Eagle Seal, and wants further proof that there are no Specialists in Irkutsk, with a seal. She also didn't like the medical conclusion again, but couldn't tell us what it should say... Both the judge and the prosecuter started asking us the same questions they asked last fall! Once again they had concern over our Homestudy & Post Placement Agencies. We thought we were past all this stuff, and to be honest, we're mentally prepared. It came down to her needed clarification as to what the two different Program numbers on their licenses meant, and we figured we were looking at another 10 day to 2 week wait. But, she asked if we thought we could get this faxed to her by tomorrow. Mike said yes, and then she asked us what time we would like to reconvene?! 10? 11? Irina suggested 11 so we went with it. And therefore, we must return tomorrow with the Agency information, and the further proof about the TB specialists, and a reworded medical conclusion. We left court around 12:45 and spent the entire afternoon getting both of the medical issues cleared up. Tonite after 10, Mike will contact the MA Agency overseeing adoption agencies, and request that the information the judge is asking for, and HOPEFULLY we'll pull this off.

After the judge left the courtroom, all the parties in attendance said the same thing. "She's close to approving this adoption".

So, we press on, and continue to pray. Please continue your prayers as well!

I could write more but I'm beat, and have spent 4 solid days running around, and have had no quality time with Skip. He spent the day with Ksusha today, but missed us Ksusha said. He was very happy to see us arrive home today.

So, tonite I'll do lots of praying, and playing (with Skip)!
